A Century in the Sky
In 2026, the Swedish Air Force marks 100 years of innovation, independence, and engineering excellence.
To honour this legacy, MALM presents an exclusive series of hand-painted dials – each inspired by aircrafts that shaped Swedish aviation history.
Designed in Sweden and rooted in aviation-inspired watchmaking, this collection translates history into wearable art with new art and models to be added throughout the year.

100 years of Innovation
Since its establishment in 1926, the Swedish Air Force has played a central role in the development of Swedish aviation. Over the decades, Sweden built a strong reputation for independent aircraft development, advanced engineering, and innovative solutions adapted to Nordic conditions. This legacy has shaped not only aviation, but also Swedish industrial design and technical identity.
The capital of swedish aviation
At MALM, we are proud to combine our passion for watches and aviation to create unique timepieces. Based in Linköping, the capital of Swedish aviation development and manufacturing, we’re surrounded by a rich legacy of aviation history, offering endless inspiration right at our doorstep – often by just looking up to the skies.
OUR PILOT WATCHES
To develop our collections, we've worked closely with pilots and military personnel. Over the years, we’ve partnered with members and groups from the Swedish Air Force, pilots and technicians, as well as international squadrons operating Swedish aircraft.
Details are gathered from various gauges and instruments found inside Swedish aircrafts.
